Local Government
Jim Jones has extensive experience in local government matters, as a former Vice Mayor of the City of Napa, former member of the Napa Redevelopment Agency, as well as being a developer of low income housing. He also has participated as committee member or co-chair in numerous local bond elections, and school board matters. Having worked on ‘both sides of the table’, as a person charged with making land use decisions, or as an applicant or attorney for applicants for land use matters, Jim has a good understanding ow what it takes to work within the existing structures, in order to accomplish positive results.
In our office, we especially enjoy this type of legal work, because we are working with our clients in a positive way to protect or enhance their rights to use and develop their properties.
